As a certified Agility partner who has run these migrations for enterprises like Oxford Properties and InterRent, here is an honest assessment of what this changes, what it speeds up, and what the iceberg underneath still looks like.

What Agility CMS Demonstrated

On July 10, 2026, Agility CMS published a case study documenting the migration of seven WordPress sites into Agility CMS using AI agents and MCP (Model Context Protocol) server integration. The headline: no custom scripts. No manual data mapping. AI agents handled content extraction, field mapping, and import using Agility's MCP server, which exposes 19 tools accessible by Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and other AI systems via OAuth 2.0.

This is a real capability, not a demo or a proof of concept. Agility is a Toronto-based platform and a primary partner for Dotfusion. We were part of the early access program for the MCP server. So when we say this works, we are speaking from direct experience, not from reading the press release.

The question worth asking is a more specific one: what does this change for an enterprise team facing a WordPress migration, and what does it not change?

What It Speeds Up

The part of a CMS migration that AI-assisted tooling genuinely accelerates is the mechanical data movement.
