Technology
Built on Magnolia CMS, the new Faith-Based Content Hub gives content teams complete control of their publishing process. Authoring workflows were designed to empower both editors and publishers with flexible tools to manage diverse content types, including articles, journeys, and short-form plans.
The CMS implementation includes custom apps for pages, assets, menus, and sharing, ensuring consistency, scalability, and an improved authoring experience.
Strategy
Our strategy centered on accessibility, emotional connection, and user autonomy. The content and design approach reduces barriers to entry by using conversational language, friendly navigation, and short, approachable content experiences.
The Cornerstone process was used to define key user journeys, taxonomy, and authoring logic. From there, Dotfusion designed a system that allows content creators to easily organize and publish in a way that feels personal and natural to users.
Design
The design approach for the Faith-Based Content Hub is rooted in accessibility and empathy. The tone of voice is conversational, authentic, and real, creating an environment that feels like a dialogue, not a lecture.
Each article and journey is presented as a question or relatable prompt, helping users explore topics that matter to them. The grid-based layout is clean and democratic, giving equal weight to all topics. Visual iconography, tags, and imagery work together to create clear cognitive pathways and visual wayfinding.
Dotfusion led the UX and experience design, defining how users navigate, discover, and interact with the content. Working in collaboration with the client’s creative teams, we crafted a structure that feels open, safe, and welcoming.
