Campaign Excellence

From 2006 to 2014, we developed and executed comprehensive digital campaigns including Back-to-School promotions, Holiday campaigns, Promology showcases, and seasonal activations aligned with fashion cycles and retail calendars.

Our breakthrough 2006 Holiday "Gifting Personalities" campaign created 10 distinct shopper personalities with curated gift recommendations, interactive e-cards, email marketing, and contest integration.

Our 2009 and 2010 Back-to-School campaigns earned Website of the Day awards from Awwwards.com, recognizing exceptional design and user experience alongside multiple other design awards for creative excellence.

Technology

We designed and implemented a real-time parking availability system integrated into the Yorkdale website, allowing visitors to view live parking capacity across all garage levels and identify optimal parking areas before arriving at the property. For the website platform, Dotfusion implemented three complete rebrands on AgilityCMS from 2006 to 2014, creating a robust architecture that enabled seamless content management, dynamic promotional content delivery, event integration, merchant listings, and wayfinding services.

Strategy

As part of Oxford Properties' portfolio of premium shopping centres, we provided ongoing digital strategy aligned with Yorkdale's evolution from regional mall to international luxury destination. Our approach included quarterly seasonal campaign planning and execution, platform enhancements aligned with property expansions, user experience optimization based on analytics insights, and comprehensive training and support for marketing teams throughout our multi-year partnership.

Design

We developed visually stunning, highly functional campaign microsites and experiences featuring custom illustrations, intuitive navigation, mobile-responsive design, and seamless integration with the main website. Beyond campaigns, we orchestrated advanced integrations including interactive maps and wayfinding, real-time parking systems, promotional tools and contest mechanics, merchant listings and profiles, and event calendars. The result was a comprehensive digital ecosystem serving multiple audiences from shoppers seeking inspiration to tenants managing their presence to property managers analyzing traffic patterns.
